So here&#8217;s the Vista version of that same concept, if you prefer not to have to login to your computer every time you turn it on.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0How to Configure Windows Vista to Login Automatically:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the <strong>Start <\/strong>menu and type <strong>netplwiz<\/strong> in the <strong>Start Search<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n<li>Hit <strong>Enter <\/strong>and the advanced <strong>User Accounts<\/strong> dialog will open.<\/li>\n<li>Highlight your primary user in the list and uncheck the box <strong>Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gabeanderson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/snag-1850.png\" alt=\"snag-1850.png\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Type in your <strong>Password<\/strong> and again in the <strong>Confirm Password<\/strong> field:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gabeanderson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/snag-1851.png\" alt=\"snag-1851.png\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>That&#8217;s it!
